West Halifax Townscape Hidden among the backroads of Southern Vermont is West Halifax. This area boasts some of the most scenic driving routes in all of New England. This area has everything from bubbling brooks, horse farms, covered bridges, hairpin turns, mountain views, to a symphony of wildlife.

Green River Mountain Road Along Route 5 South just outside of Brattleboro is Green River, with a famous covered bridge and dam with a waterfall. Nearby, a lovely New England church built in 1837 sets off the landscape, a fine example of historic Vermont scenery.
