The Penniman
House, located in the Cape Cod National Seashore at Fort Hill. The house was constructed
in 1868 in the Second Empire style by whaling captain, Edward Penniman. Open to the
Public.
Schoolhouse Museum across from
the Salt Pond Visitors Center was a one room schoolhouse built in 1869 which served the
town until 1936. The museum displays various objects from the town's history and is open
in the summer 1-4 p.m.
CoastGuard
Station was built in 1871 as one of the life saving stations along the outer shores of
Cape Cod and stands overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
CoastGuard Beach on the Atlantic Ocean is
"the" spot for surfers and sunbathers. There is a parking lot at the
beach specifically for disabled visitors.
Three Sisters
Lighthouses have been preserved by the Cape Cod National Seashore and are located in a
wooded glen off Nauset Road near Nauset Light Beach.
