Bear Haven, so named
for the many Teddy Bears who live there, is owned by Deane Merrill and Chris Morben. Built
by Moses Whitney Merrill in 1852, it left the family in 1940, and was repurchased and
lovingly restored in 1997. Bear Haven is conveniently located in the charming Village of
Shelburne Falls, a five minute walk from the Bridge of Flowers, the unique Glacial
Potholes, antique and craft shops, and restaurants. Its cozy Victorian ambiance, quiet
sunny rooms and luxurious feather beds will transport you back to a quieter, gentler time.
